The Challenge

A client had lost market share on their generator line and wanted to re-enter with a reliable, cost-effective product that could win it back. They needed more than a supplier, a partner who could adjust specifications to fit market demand, back the product with real support, and help rebuild a brand image.

The AVLM Solution

After the initial briefing, we were upfront with the client: generators require proper use by the end user and shouldn't be positioned as a full substitute for electricity, and product placement plays a real role in durability. With that understanding set, we:

  1. Visited and vetted several manufacturers before settling on a partner and specifications we were confident in

  2. Built and tested a sample prototype, running and monitoring the generator's performance before approving it for production

  3. Loaded and shipped a full container once the final product met our standard

Five years on, the client has rebuilt market share with a product they trust. AVLM has continued supporting the relationship with small upgrades, spec changes, and an ongoing supply of spare parts, keeping the product running and the partnership active well past delivery.
